Structure that reads as fitness.

Not higher cheekbones, a stronger frame. Wide, flat, lateral structure that reads as lean and trained.

Reversible

Dissolvable the filler dissolves, not every complication does

The male approach

A male cheek is built wide.

The difference between a result that reads as rested and one that reads as "done" is almost entirely placement. Refined, not overdone, comes down to millimetres, and a male mid-face is simply not laid out like a female one.

The cheek, treated territory

A ledge, not a peak

Male cheeks are wide and flat. Height feminises, width and edge never do.

The frame it all hangs from →

Structural support at the cheekbone, the Band Codex builds here first.

Quiet knock-on effects

Done right, it can also settle the under-eye and sharpen the jaw's shadow.

The work

Cheeks, unretouched.

Unretouched. The full before/after set is shown at consultation.

Buccal fullness and lax skin are Endolift's territory, not filler's, you'll be told which yours is.

Dr Bassam Band, GMC-registered aesthetic doctor
Dr Bassam Band · GMC 7458919

Dr Bassam Band, MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, developed the Band Codex, the world's first structured injecting system for the male face, and teaches full-face contouring to doctors internationally. Every treatment here is planned and performed by a doctor. Nothing is delegated.

  1. A £100 consultation. Your mid-face is read against the whole, width, edge, and what the cheek does for the under-eye and jaw. You leave knowing what your face needs, what it doesn't, and the exact price, whether or not you book.
  2. You decide in your own time. Nothing is sold in the chair, and if lax skin, not lost structure, is your real issue, you'll be pointed to the right treatment instead.
  3. Treated, reviewed, guarded. Millimetre-planned placement on bone, performed by the doctor with dissolving agent in the room, and the aim of stopping well short of overfilling.

Cheek questions

Before you book.

How much product will I need?

Typically 1–2ml per side for structure, though the exact volume is assessed in person and agreed with you before anything is opened. More is not the goal, placement is.

Will it make my face rounder?

No. Placed laterally and on bone, structural filler adds width and support, not softness. A rounder face is a placement error, not a property of the filler.

How long does it last?

Around 12–24 months. Structural filler placed on bone in a relatively still area tends to hold longer than product in mobile zones like the lips.

Can it be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic-acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you ever want it reversed or adjusted, one of the reasons we favour it for structural work.

What are the risks?

Common and short-lived: bruising, swelling and tenderness for a few days, occasionally a small firmness you can feel while it settles. Uncommon: asymmetry that needs adjusting, or filler that needs dissolving. Rare but serious: filler entering a blood vessel (vascular occlusion), an emergency the doctor is trained to recognise and treat on the spot, with dissolving agent kept in the room. You leave with aftercare instructions and a direct contact for any concern. Individual results, and side effects, vary.

What does it cost?

£450 per ml, and a structural cheek plan is typically 1–2ml per side. The exact volume, and therefore the exact price, is agreed with you at consultation, which is a flat £100. The full list is on the pricing page.

How do I book?

Call 07990 090069 or email the clinic for a consultation at 5 Goodge Place, Fitzrovia. There is no obligation to proceed; either way you leave knowing what your face needs, what it doesn't, and the exact price.
